This Sunday is one of the biggest nights of the year, a time when all our favorite stars put on fabulous couture and make their way down the red carpet, seeing and being seen. (They also do this thing called the “Oscars” after if you’re into that.) All of the other award shows are basically just leading up to the Academy Awards, it’s like we’ve been in a very long rehearsal for the last few months. And judging from what we’ve seen on this year’s Golden Globes, Grammys, and more, we’re in for a night of to-die-for looks and must-see moments this Sunday.
So, eager to see the looks but not sure how to tune in? Look no further — your guide to red carpet viewing is right this way.

As always, the viewing process is simple if you have cable. Starting at 6:30 p.m. ET, ABC will air their “Oscars All Access: Red Carpet Live” coverage; the same coverage is available on the ABC website or the ABC app, but both also require a cable login to access.
For real die-hard red carpet viewers, E!’s “Countdown to the Red Carpet” begins at 1 p.m. ET, and their official pre-show, “E! Live From the Red Carpet” won’t begin until 5 p.m. ET. E!’s coverage will be hosted by red carpet regulars Ryan Seacrest and Giuliana Rancic, who will interview celebs coming down the carpet. At 7 p.m. ET, E! will transition to “Red Carpet Rundown,” where they focus on the 2020 Oscars fashion.
For those who don’t have cable, there are plenty of options for getting your red carpet fill Sunday night. Whatever live stream service you typically prefer likely has a streaming option, since Hulu with Live TV, fuboTV, Sling TV, AT&T TV Now, Playstation Vue, and YouTube TV are all streaming both E! and ABC’s red carpet coverage.
