Last night had two of the year’s biggest red carpet events: the 92nd Annual Academy Awards, and the annual Vanity Fair party right after. Stars like Brad Pitt, Kim Kardashian, Gabrielle Union, and more all flocked to the Vanity Fair party to have their photos taken in the portrait studio and mingle with their A-list pals. Of course, one of our favorite couples, Chrissy Teigen and John Legend were right there with them — and we found this behind-the-scenes look at their time in the portrait studio.

So, what went into getting this shot? The Vanity Fair Instagram posted all the behind-the-scenes action to their story, from this intimate seated pose to Teigen and Legend trying out some dance moves together.
Next, Teigen and Legend took over the Vanity Fair Instagram to say hi to their fans: “Hello everyone, it’s John Legend,” the singer said. “We’re at the Vanity Fair after-Oscar party.”
“How do we even get invited?” Teigen mused next to him. “I don’t know. It’s pretty cool.”
“They put us on the cover last year, so I guess they had to invite us,” Legend joked.
