Looks like 2020 could hold a baby and a wedding for Jenna Dewan! The Flirty Dancing host and boyfriend Steve Kazeejust announced their engagement — and the happy news comes only five months after the couple revealed that they’re expecting their first child together. Life just keeps getting better for this beautiful couple, who shared their latest exciting milestone with fans on Tuesday evening.
Dewan, 39, and Kazee, 44, both took to Instagram to break the news with romantic posts about their future together. “A lifetime to love and grow with you… you have my heart,” Dewan captioned a dreamy photo of the pair kissing. On her finger? A stunning (and unique) engagement ring. Kazee shared the same swoon-worthy snapshot and got lyrical in his caption, quoting the song “Let It Breathe” by Water Liars. “When you wake in the morning, I will kiss your eyes and say it’s you I have loved all these years.”
The couple’s famous friends quickly weighed in with congratulatory sentiments. “Just the best, the best, the best!!! Love you two so much,” wrote Once Upon a Time actress JoAnna Garcia Swisher. Gushed Rumer Willis, “Congratulations to both of you beautiful souls, you two are a true reflection of soul mates and love. So happy for you.”

Actress Nikki Reed left comments on both Dewan and Kazee’s posts as well, which makes sense considering how close she is to the couple. In fact, she even helped to design Dewan’s one-of-a-kind engagement ring. “An honor to be a very small part of this special moment,” Reed, who is the founder of a sustainable jewelry brand called Bayou with Love, shared in her Instagram Stories of her friends’ engagement. “And I might be biased, but that ring is gorgeoussssss! Steve, making this with you was such a beautiful experience. Thank you for loving Jenna the way you do.”
Of course, the engagement is the latest in a growing list of promising developments for Dewan and Kazee. In September 2019, they dropped their baby news. In December, they moved in together. And just a few weeks ago, Dewan and ex-husband Channing Tatumreached a custody agreement regarding their 6-year-old daughter Everly.
The couple first began dating in October 2018, a few months after Dewan and Tatum announced their separation. And as Dewan tells it, her and Kazee finding each other was kismet. Or, to be more accurate, finding each other again. “When I was ready, I started dating someone amazing,” she said of Kazee in her book Gracefully You: Finding Beauty and Balance in the Everyday. “It was this cosmically great thing where we circled back around each other after a moment of recognition years ago.”
