Hilary Duff is the latest celebrity to transform her hair while in quarantine. Over Easter weekend, the mother of two’s husband, Matthew Koma, dyed her hair blue. Duff’s new ‘do gives off space girl pixie vibes — and we’re loving it. Was this out of boredom? Or maybe she was tired of her blonde hair? Whatever the reason, we fully support this decision and think Koma is one rad dad for inspiring us to pursue daring #hairgoals. Some of her followers, understandably, thought she was wearing a wig while others were quick to throw her praise. One commenter, though, asked when the new Lizzie McGuire season is. If this is Duff’s way of distracting us from a reboot of our favorite early aughts childhood show, she’s doing a great job.
Later that evening, Koma put on an IG Live performance and revealed that he was basically Duff’s at-home hair colorist. “I also dyed her hair. I do a lot of stuff around the house,” Koma said on Instagram Live.
During quarantine, the Koma-Duffs have been keeping themselves distracted in other ways too. “Driving each other minimally crazy and had an amazing date night dinner at Le Living Room last night,” Koma captioned a selfie of the pair before social distancing.
If we look as good as the Lizzie McGuire actress with blue hair, then we might take on the transformation ourselves.
