We all know that Lola Consuelos is basically mom Kelly Ripa’s doppelgänger. But as these two spend more time together than ever in quarantine, these two are taking their twinspiration to the next level — sharing clothes, doing each other’s hair, and providing all the BFF support the other could need. BRB, our hearts are exploding from the cuteness.
18-year-old Consuelos has always been close with mom Ripa, but as the TV host struggles with the day-to-day realities of living in quarantine, Consuelos has stepped up to support her like never before. While filming a virtual Live with Kelly and Ryan, Ripa admitted to her co-host that she was wearing Lola’s clothes on-air and that her daughter was responsible for her freshly curled hair.

“I’m now in my daughter’s clothes. It’s gone there,” she told Seacrest. “My daughter learned how to do my hair using the tie of your bathrobe. She watched a TikTok video on how to do hair by wrapping your hair around the bathrobe tie. And my daughter did my hair!”
While Consuelos may be responsible for Ripa’s beachy waves, she’s been handling the color all on her own: “I’ve been spraying my roots. At this point it’s all spray because my hair is all gray.”
Ripa was one of the first celebs to come forward about her “root watch” while in quarantine, and it looks like her love of all things beauty has passed on to Consuelos. Our final question: how do you curl hair with a bathrobe tie?! Hopefully, Consuelos will give us answers soon.
