Talk about a double take! Of course, many fathers and sons look alike but a resemblance this close is hard to come by! Michael Joseph Consuelos is nearly a doppelgänger of his dad, Mark Consuelos, in Kelly Ripa‘s most recent Instagram post. So similar that we literally did a double take. This isn’t the first time Ripa’s son has been compared to his father. In fact, his stark resemblance allowed for him to play a young version of his father’s character Hiram Lodge on the The CW’s show Riverdale. In a fun family photo, Ripa took to social media to share her hope for 2021 and let’s just say we couldn’t agree more.
She shared a collage of photos including pictures of her beautiful family playing around in the pool, with the last showing Ripa falling in! Like many celebrities posting about 2021, her desire for a better year is very strong. She wrote, “Here’s to hoping this next go around is better than the year that shall remain nameless. With love and best wishes from our family to yours. (Yes, these were Lola approved.)…….#2021 💕🎉”

To anyone who doesn’t know, Lola Consuelos is her daughter who happens to have some strong opinions about her mom’s social media use, as I am sure we all do with our parents’ attempts to stay “hip” and “in the know.” There is something so charmingly relatable about their entire family dynamic. They seem so tight knit and in times like these, being surrounded by loving family is all we can ask for.
