Oops, she did it again! Britney Spears is teasing fans with another nude photo that’s quite provocative — this time, it’s on Twitter. The “Hold Me Closer” singer is in her era of exploring her power in the wake of her 13-year conservatorship ending.
While the snapshot might not be everyone’s cup of tea, Spears looks fit and fabulous, lying on a bed fully nude. (See the photo HERE.) She artfully covers herself up with her leg draped over her and her hand gently shielding her breast. The 40-year-old pop star didn’t just send a message with the image, her caption was also a bit saucy. She wrote, “I have a premiere for a movie this week ‘THE LEGISLATIVE ACT OF MY P***Y’ !!!!” While we aren’t sure if this is a political statement or an act of defiance, but Spears doesn’t seem to mind the attention.
Naturally, the reactions are mixed to her post. One user tweeted in support, “she’s taking back her power. This woman was sexualized by the industry, managers& her own parents for years & the world at large ate it up. Now she’s taking the helm of her own sexuality/power and everyone is clutching their pearls? Spare me. @britneyspears you do you.” Other accounts aren’t digging her content lately, noting, “You need to stop and think about the ones that love you and the impact it will have on them. Your stronger than this and you are loved by family.”
Spears hasn’t even been out of the conservatorship for a year, and she has plenty of trauma to unpack — she doesn’t need advice from social media. Hopefully, she is figuring it out in a healthy way that works best for her.
