Khloé Kardashian Just Broke Down the ‘Boundaries’ She Set With Tristan Thompson After His Cheating Scandals

Co-parenting with an ex can be rough, especially when you have an on-and-off relationship with a serial cheater, like Khloé Kardashian has had with her ex Tristan Thompson. During the latest episode of The Kardashians, the mother of two opened up to her mom Kris Jenner about how she is maintaining boundaries with Thompson as they raise their daughter True, 5, and son Tatum, 11 months, together.

Khloé made it abundantly clear that getting back together with Thompson is not in the cards. “For my kids, I’ll put anything to the side. What’s done is done, so what would I still be holding onto something for? I don’t need to punish him because I’m not getting back with him,” she explained.

For those who need a little reminder, Thompson cheated on Khloé on multiple occasions throughout their relationship, the last time being with Marlee Nichols. Thompson fathered a child with the model, and the Kardashian-Jenner clan found out along with the world when Thompson posted an apology all over social media in December 2022. At the time, Khloé and Thompson were already set up with a surrogate and expecting their second child, Tatum, together.

“These boundaries are so important to put in place with Tristan because we’ve done this song and dance a handful of times already. I’ve gotten back with him after a cheating scandal,” she explained in the confessional. “So I don’t know if Tristan is under the impression of, ‘Oh wow, OK, let’s just ride this out and eventually she’ll get back with me.’ I get why he would think that. So it’s my job to set boundaries that my actions show otherwise.”

Reportedly, Thompson is “always trying” to rekindle their romance, making Khloé’s set boundaries even more important. After all, she can’t cut him out of her life as a co-parent to their kids!

Khloé is truly going above and beyond to make sure Thompson really gets the hint that there is zero chance they are getting back together. “I make sure he knows it’s all about the kids. Because it’s so easy to fall back into, ‘Hey, let’s watch a game,’ or this or that. I can’t let those old habits just easily come into my life. It’s just not what I want,” she added.

While it sounds like a tough situation to be in, it seems like Khloé has been able to reflect on past situations and patterns that ultimately won’t serve her dating-wise in a mature, strong way. Maintain those boundaries!
