Gigi Hadid and Leonardo DiCaprio have kept fans guessing about the status of their relationship for almost a year now. However, there seems to be evidence that their situationship has cooled a bit in the last month as they’ve both been spotted on dates with other people.
On Saturday, the 28-year-old supermodel attended a house party in Los Angeles with music producer Cole Bennett. They made sure not to sit next to each other or indulge in any PDA, so this could just be a friendship — or it could be something more.
No one should worry about DiCaprio, though, because he’s not sitting by the phone waiting for Hadid’s call. The 48-year-old Oscar winner been quite busy himself with Italian model Vittoria Ceretti, 25, who he was seen with in Santa Barbara while on an ice cream run. This might be the first fracture in Hadid and DiCaprio’s casual dating scenario because they both seem to be preoccupied with other people.
An Us Weekly insider isn’t sweating the most recent news too much because they swear that “Leo and Gigi still talk on occasion.” It’s also easy for them to hang out since “they travel in similar circles of friends” quite often. The source also gives the same line that most of the dynamic duo’s friends have spouted over the last year. “They respect each other and have fun when they’re together, but it’s not the type of situation Gigi would settle down for,” the source noted. “She’s more than happy living the single life and focusing on her daughter and her career.” So it’s probably safe to say that Hadid and DiCaprio have fun hooking up, but it’s never going to make it past the fling stage.
