These Sweet Moments Between Meghan Markle & Prince Harry in Heart of Invictus Show Just How Incredible Their Love Is

As one of Prince Harry‘s biggest passion projects, the Invictus Games were an important part of his and Meghan Markle‘s journey. After all, back in 2017, the Sussexes made their first official public appearance together at the annual games for wounded veterans. So, unsurprisingly, Markle was a part of Harry’s newly released Netflixdocuseries about the games, titled Heart of Invictus, even just for a few cameos here and there.

According to Town & Country, the Suits alum made five brief appearances in the series. In episode one, for example, Markle and Harry were seen walking into the Salute to Freedom Gala in November 2021. As fans of the Duchess will remember, that’s when she wore a showstopping red Carolina Herrera gown. “We haven’t done this in a while,” Harry told his wife and they walked around the event. “I know,” she responded. Partner in crime and in red carpets, right?

In episode two, viewers could see Markle once again in the Gala but this time in more closeup shots of her listening to stories, including talking to a widower who lost her veteran husband to suicide, Town & Country reports.

In the following episode, viewers saw a glimpse of the planning for the 2022 Games in the Netherlands the day before it started. In the opening ceremony, Markle adorably introduced her husband. “This is service, this is dedication, and this is the Invictus family,” she says to the crowd. “Please welcome my incredible husband, Prince Harry the Duke of Sussex.” Harry then walks onstage and they share a sweet kiss. “Thank you my love,” he says. How adorable is that?

Lastly, in the fifth and final episode of the series, Markle is seen helping Harry prepare for his closing ceremony speech, including how to pronounce the name of the current Chief of Defense of the Netherlands. So precious!

And although Markle’s presence in the series is minimal, it’s clear that she was there by Harry’s side to support, cheer and help him throughout the planning and running of the event. Safe to say they’ve always been couple goals, but that’s even more the case after watching Heart of Invictus.
