Joe Manganiello might want to block his ears because he probably doesn’t want to hear that his estranged wife, Sofía Vergara, had an epic summer without him. It sounds like she was booked and busy during her hot-girl season and her friends made sure she had company every step of the way.
Vergara made sure to take in all of the major concerts this summer, which we all know means Beyoncé and Taylor Swift. “Anyone can learn a thing or two from Beyoncé,” she shared with Entertainment Tonight. “That was, I mean, she was spectacular! What a show! Her daughter, her songs, her outfits, her body, I mean everything.” She also appreciated that her friends took care of her during a difficult time in her life. “I mean, I don’t think I’ve ever gone to so many concerts [in my life],” she added, “I don’t know. I’ve been lucky! People have been inviting me out, you know, trying to have fun.”
The Modern Family star also made the choice not to stay home and wallow in a pint of ice cream. She found each invitation an opportunity to thrive, and noted, “I’ve been going everywhere they invite me.” Vergara and Manganiello announced their divorce in July with a joint statement to Page Six: “We have made the difficult decision to divorce. As two people that love and care for one another very much, we politely ask for respect of our privacy at this time as we navigate this new phase of our lives.”
Vergara has been “giving her all to her new beauty brand, toty, and is very involved and excited about it,” according to an ET source. The couple had reportedly reached an end point in the marriage and were “living separate lives.” As for Vergara, she’s grooving her way through a busy social calendar that keeps her at the top of everyone’s must-invite list.
