If there’s one person who know how to get back at an ex, it’s Taylor Swift. So, if you were going through a very high-profile divorce and happened to have the “Better Than Revenge” singer’s number in your phone, who else would you call?
Of course, we can’t know for sure if that’s what went down with Sophie Turner and Swift but the two, who both had relationships with Joe Jonas, were spotted on an epic girls’ night out in New York City on Tuesday night and we’re betting the “Cake By The Ocean” singer was a conversation topic.
Page Six reports that the duo hit up Temple Bar after grabbing dinner at celebrity hotspot Via Carota. At the bar, a source claims, the stars enjoyed “many martinis with caviar bumps, which they seemed to love.”
“Caviar bumps” blew up as a decadent foodie trend last year. Anyone splashing out on the activity licks an expensive dollop of caviar off the back of their hand. The bumps reportedly go for $20-a-pop at Temple Bar. “They were having a fun time,” a source reported on Swift, 33, and Turner, 27.
The duo have been friends for several years. Turner is a known Swiftie and the singer even formed a public friendship with Jonas when he dated her pal, Gigi Hadid. Their friendship continued during Turner and Jonas’ relationship but it seems like Swift has made it clear where her loyalty lies.
Jonas and Swift briefly dated in 2008 before splitting after a few months. Turner and Jonas began dating in 2016 before marrying three years later. The couple share two daughters. Jonas, 34, filed for divorce from Turner in early September before releasing a joint statement with his estranged wife.
“After four wonderful years of marriage we have mutually decided to amicably end our marriage,” the statement read. “There are many speculative narratives as to why but, truly this is a united decision and we sincerely hope that everyone can respect our wishes for privacy for us and our children.”
