Brittany Snow has done her best to keep her divorce from Selling the OC star, Tyler Stanaland, as private as possible over the last year. The Pitch Perfect actress hasn’t said much about what led to the split, but viewers of the Netflix reality show questioned Stanaland’s flirtatious friendship with co-star Alex Hall in the first two seasons as the alleged cause.
Now, Snow has broken her silence to The Retality about how she’s feeling after such a major life change. “This year has been the most I’ve learned about myself, probably, in my whole life,” she explained. “I am shocked at how much resilience the human emotional body can take. I’m proud of myself. I’ve been on a healing journey.” While she’s been working on herself and choosing to “lead with integrity” at this moment, she is thinking about spilling some tea in the future.
“It’s obviously very public but, you know, I am not a person that has ever, ever wanted my private life or some that I loved to be … public,” she teased. “I’ve always been really private about the intricacies of people that I care about in that way, and, so, that’s something that I like to maintain. One day, in my 60s, my memoir is going to be chef’s kiss because I’ve got all the secrets. But until then.” We’d love to say Stanaland is sweating a bit about what his ex-wife might reveal, but he didn’t show Snow much consideration when they were married. So, spill that tea, girl!
Snow and Stanaland dated for two years and got married at the beginning of the pandemic lockdown in March 2020. By September 2022, they had called it quits just after the first season of his streaming reality show aired (side-eye). While fans wait for Snow’s dishy memoir, she is busy learning “to rediscover” who she is without the worry of Stanaland and his reported wandering eye.
