Despite their messy breakup, it seems Sam Asghari will defend his estranged wife Britney Spears from bullies, including Donald Trump Jr.

On Sept 30, Trump posted a meme using Spears as the butt of the joke on his Instagram. He posted a meme saying, “Yup,” and the photo showed a pic of Spears back in the early 2000s with the post reading “America Under Trump,” and a more recent screenshot of Spears saying “America Under Biden.”

The “joke” of this being that Biden’s America looks worse than the Trump administration, by using a makeup-free screenshot against a polished photoshoot from 20 years ago.

You can see the post HERE, for yourself.

While the Woman in Meauthor never responded, Asghari took to his Instagram story, pet the Blast. While Asghari didn’t repost the image, he did respond by tagging Trump and saying, “It’s not okay to be a bully.”

And Asghari wasn’t the only one to come to Spears’ defense. Many came to her aid in the comment section of the original post, commenting things such as “I like your dad, but please don’t post pictures of others like this🙄what if this was your daughter. No one’s perfect.” Another one added, “That is mean. Brittany had been so taken advantage of. I love Donald Trump, but take this down.”

As of Oct 2, Trump has yet to take it down and hasn’t commented on the post since, but we do love that Spears’s ex didn’t hesitate to call Trump out.

For those who don’t know, after one year of marriage, Spears and Asghari separated. They started dating in 2016, and later got engaged in 2021; and broke up in 2023.
