Insider Reveals Whether Adele Is Married to Rich Paul After She Referred to Him as Her ‘Husband’ on Stage

Although we love to think that we know everything about our favorite celebrities, like their best outfits, their favorite skincare products and even their complete dating history, not all celebrities are an open book. Grammy-winner Adele, for example, has been quite private about her personal life, with only a few comments about her relationships and her son, Angelo, over the years.

That is, however, until she let slip last month that she calls her partner, sports agent Rich Paul, her “husband.” Safe to say everyone started asking themselves, “Are they officially married?” Now, a few weeks since the hilarious fan interaction, an insider is shedding light on their current relationship status.

So are Adele and Rich Paul married?

According to one insider to Us Weekly, the singer and the agent have not walked down the aisle just yet. “They aren’t married but they do call each other husband and wife and have been for a while now,” the source revealed, adding that Paul started calling the “I Drink Wine” singer his “wife” only two months into their relationship.

 “Adele loved the security [of it] and how much he adores her,” the source added of the pair, who have been together since 2021.

Per the source, though the two may call each other “husband” and “wife,” they aren’t in a rush to make their titles official anytime soon. “Marriage is really just a ceremony at this point,” the insider said. “They [already] live and act as husband and wife.”

In case you missed the “husband” blunder recently, Adele let it slip during an interaction with a fan during a show in her Las Vegas residency. “You can’t marry me,” she told the fan. “I’m straight, my love, and my husband’s here tonight,” she continued, sending the crowd into a frenzy. Prior to her relationship with Paul, Adele was married to entrepreneur Simon Konecki from 2018 to 2021. The couple began dating in 2011 and welcomed a son, Angelo, in 2012.

So although we understand her hesitation to walk down the aisle again, we’ll also admit that we’d love to see her in a white dress all over again. Overall though, we’re just happy she’s happy!
