When Gigi Hadid and Bradley Cooper were spotted on a dinner date just last week, it’s safe to say we were all a bit shocked. After all, Hadid was rumored to have just ended her “situationship” with Leonardo DiCaprio and Cooper was in a love triangle of his own with ex Irina Shayk and Tom Brady.
The photos, however, confirmed that there was something between the two. And, according to a new source, their connection is a long time coming.
Although details on when Hadid and Cooper first met are still unknown, sources revealed to People that Hadid “had sort of a crush on [Cooper] for a while.” Though we don’t know if the “crush” developed after they met, or from Hadid knowing the Oscar winner’s work, it’s safe to say she was manifesting something between them.
As for how they’re doing, sources say the two are “having fun” getting to know each other. “She’s independent, busy, and her days are filled with responsibilities so I don’t see anything serious happening right away if at all,” the source added.
“[They have] things in common so it’s possible to see it progress,” the source continued. Speaking of things in common, the two are parents to young daughters – Hadid shares 3-year-old daughter Khai with ex Zayn Malik while Cooper shares 6-year-old daughter Lea De Seine with Shayk.
“It appears super casual now, but they both have kids, big careers, busy lives and understand what life is like in these circles,” the source continued. “It’s cute…and there is an attraction.”
According to another source, the two “have been out a couple of times” including their NYC dinner date, per Us Weekly. “It’s still far too early to know where things might be headed,” the source added. Looks like the jury’s still out on these two!
