If you’re not born into the British royal family, or planning on marrying into it, you may never know what it truly feels like to be part of the so-called “Firm.” And though that may be a good thing if you ask their former membersMeghan Markle and Prince Harry, we can’t help but be curious.
Luckily, however, it turns out anyone could get a taste of the royal life by renting a guesthouse in King Charles III‘s beloved Sandringham Estate in Norfolk, England.
In fact, influencer Laura-Ann Barr, who goes by the handle All That’s Pretty, recently rented the Estate’s “Garden House,” which is available to rent on Airbnb, and gave us all the royal scoop.
In a series of TikToks, Barr shared what her days were like in the quaint four-bedroom house. “I can’t believe we’re staying here at the King’s Airbnb at Sandringham Estate,” she said at the beginning of one video. “It is absolutely beautiful, look at the gardens!”
“The biggest decision in the morning however is which mug or cup to choose for your cup of tea or coffee,” she joked, showing the vast collections of mugs, including many with Queen Elizabeth and Queen Mother’s faces painted on them. “Look at the collection they had!”
“The kiddies had a little play and we decided to get up and at it and go for a walk,” Barr continued. “The gardens here are absolutely beautiful. We dandered over to the Sandringham Estate itself where they have a coffee shop and picked up a latte. Right beside the coffee shop is [Charles’ residence] Sandringham house and then to Saint Mary Magdalene Church, which you will know from Christmas Day for the Royal Family. This is where they all go on Christmas morning. The Church is so quaint and absolutely beautiful inside, it’s so tiny.”
In addition to walking around the Estate, Barr also visited the closest town for a painting class and shopping before coming back to their rental for another cup of tea in “another royal mug.”
In another TikTok, Barr then showed some more details of the home including all the incredible artwork from the Royal Collection. “It includes some furniture and a lot of different paintings and drawings,” she said, adding that one painting even had a plaque for when it was presented to the Queen.
At the end of the video, she declared it was her last day and that she’d soon have to say “farewell to her royal life.”
Curious about renting it yourself? Although the Airbnb listing is still up on the site, the property is currently fully booked until a year from now. According to Barr herself, she booked it over a year in advance. Royal life is only for some lucky few!
