After a long summer of battling it out in court, Kevin Costner wrapped up his divorce from Christine Baumgartner. The 49-year-old handbag designer testified during the hearing that she was going to have to get a job outside the home to support herself after the split. Well, there’s a rumor that Bravo TV might have quite the career opportunity for her — and Costner will probably hate the idea. 

The Hollywood gossip is going into overdrive with claims that producers of The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills are interested in Baumgartner joining the cast for Season 14, according to The National Enquirer, via RadarOnline. “Producers are eyeing Christine with keen interest, seeing her as a captivating addition that could inject a fresh dose of vigor into the tired reality series,” a source dished. “Her affiliation with a Hollywood legend grants her a certain allure, adding an extra layer of intrigue to her potential role on the show.”

The reality TV insider believes that Baumgartner has just the right mix of status and personality to shake things up in the 90210. “She’s a potent blend of beauty, financial prowess, and a Rolodex stocked with A-list names,” they continued. “This would place her on a pedestal above the current ensemble.” They feel that this casting “coup” would be bigger than when Harry Hamlin’s wife, Lisa Rinna, joined the show. “Brace yourself,” a second source chimed in. “A new queen just might be crowned.”

Bravo TV wants fans to put the brakes on, though. An insider at the network told RadarOnline that it was “a bit premature to talk casting.” As for right now, the producers have “not reached out to anyone at this stage” because they are too busy with the upcoming Season 13 premiere. And remember, Baumgartner is currently a resident of Montecito — she lives nowhere near Los Angeles right now. Viewers will have to wait and see if the rumor becomes a reality, but for Costner, it might just be a nightmare ahead of him. He settled his divorce, but Baumgartner’s next chapter might involve airing a bit of the A-lister’s dirty laundry.
