Sources Share a Surprising Update on Ariana Grande & Ethan Slater’s Relationship Following Her Divorce Settlement

Earlier this year, Ariana Grandetook the world by surprise when news broke that she and her Wicked co-star Ethan Slater were in a relationship. After all, the world had just barely learned that Grande and her now ex-husband Dalton Gomez were splitting and Slater was technically still married with a newborn.

Despite the backlash, however, Grande and Slater have continued to pursue their relationship and have seemingly not let their previous relationships get in the way of their own.

Most recently, for example, Grande finalized her divorce settlement with Gomez. And, according to a new source, the move hasn’t affected her connection with Slater at all. “[Grande and Slater are] still very excited about their relationship,” a source recently shared to Entertainment Tonight.

“Ariana thinks Ethan is ridiculously talented, likes that they can relate to each other and that he challenges her; artistically speaking,” the source added, noting that the two are “on the same page” in their budding relationship. “Ethan wants the best for Ariana and for themselves as a couple. They support and elevate one another.”

The news of their blossoming relationship comes after another source claimed that the two had already taken a major relationship step together. “Ethan informed his friends and soon-to-be ex-wife that he’s living with Ariana full-time in New York,” an insider told Us Weekly.

“They’re really happy and really good for each other,” the source continued. “All of her friends love him.”

As a reminder, Slater filed for divorce from his ex-wife Lilly Jay in July shortly after accusations about his relationship with Grande emerged. Slater and Jay had reportedly been together for 10 years and share a son who was born in 2022.

Grande and Gomez, on the other hand, were only married for two years before breaking up. Grande filed for divorce in September and they quickly settled.

Looks like Grande and Slater aren’t letting anything get in their way.
