Taylor Swift & Travis Kelce’s Aren’t Hiding Their Romance, as Proved by Their Latest Date at a Paparazzi Hot Spot

Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce aren’t exactly being coy about their relationship. The two started dominating the news cycle at the end of September when Swift attended the Kansas City Chiefs game against the Chicago Bears. The “Blank Space” singer has since attended two more games, even cheering on the Chiefs tight end alongside his mother in the box seats.

So it exactly shouldn’t come as a surprise that the two were spotted hand-in-hand right before their surprise appearance on Saturday Night Live last night enjoying a date night at a hip sushi restaurant. What is interesting, however, is out of all the sushi joints in New York City, the two decided to go to one in particular known for celebrity sightings.

The couple’s choice of Nobu, a high-end sushi restaurant with locations on five continents, is almost more famous for its celebrity clientele than its yellowtail sashimi with jalapeno and miso-marinated black cod. The original Nobu first opened in 1994 in New York City as a partnership between chef and restaurateur Nobu Matsuhisa and Robert de Niro, per Forbes.

Nearly 30 years later, the Nobu brand has expanded across the globe and gained its fair share of celebrity fans. The restaurant has been name-dropped in Drake songs, and everyone from the Kardashian-Jenners, Justin and Hailey Bieber, and George and Amal Clooney have been photographed while eating at the Malibu location. Jodie Turner-Smith and Joshua Jackson were photographed there back in September just as rumors of their eventual breakup started to swirl. This is where celebrities go to be seen.

Swift and Kelce’s recent outing only adds to Nobu’s long list of celebrity moments. Their decision to dine here sends a clear message: they’re not hiding their romance. On the contrary, they seem to be embracing the attention, making the most of their time in the spotlight — a wild departure from her very private, nearly six-year relationship with ex Joe Alwyn. Put simply, someone who has been capable of keeping a relationship under wraps for that long wouldn’t choose to go to a restaurant known for celebrity sightings if she wanted to enjoy some privacy with her new romance. The two wouldn’t have picked a paparazzi hot spot if they didn’t want to be shot by paparazzi. [See the photos from Page Six HERE.]

So, while the world continues to watch, Swift and Kelce are unabashedly writing their own love story, one paparazzi-heavy date at a time.
