Bradley Cooper Was a Real-Life Superhero When He Ran Into This A-Lister in the Middle of a Crisis

Bradley Cooper acted as a knight without the shining armor for another A-lister when he stumbled upon a crisis while out to dinner. And the best part is, he’s not even the one bragging about his good deed!

According to her latest interview with Glamour, Brooke Shields recently had a health scare right before the opening night of her show, titled “Previously Owned By Brooke Shields,” at Café Carlyle. The story starts with Shields drinking a lot of water and entering an Italian restaurant named L’Artusi. “I go in, two women come up to me; I don’t know them. Everything starts to go black. Then my hands drop to my side and I go headfirst into the wall,” she remembered.

“I start having a grand mal seizure,” Shields then revealed. “It means frothing at the mouth, totally blue, trying to swallow my tongue. The next thing I remember, [I’m] being loaded into an ambulance. I have oxygen on.”

By this point, we know what you’re thinking: “What’s funny about this story?” Well, it’s all about the A-lister who decided to help. “And Bradley f—- Cooper is sitting next to me holding my hand,” Shields added of her ambulance ride.

“I didn’t have a sense of humor. I couldn’t really get any words out,” she continued. “But I thought to myself, This is what death must be like. You wake up and Bradley Cooper’s going, ‘I’m going to go to the hospital with you, Brooke,’ and he’s holding my hand. And I’m looking at my hand, I’m looking at Bradley Cooper’s hand in my hand, and I’m like, ‘This is odd and surreal.'” Indeed it is!

How did Cooper end up saving the day, you ask? Apparently, the sommelier at L’Artusi contacted her husband’s assistant, who then reached out to another assistant, who then called Cooper, who just happened to be conveniently nearby. Then, like a perfect gentleman, Gigi Hadid’s reported new beau went to the rescue. “He came, and somebody called the ambulance,” Shields explained. “And then it was like I walked in with Jesus.”

As it turns out, Shields was drinking too much water and was suffering from low sodium prior to her seizure. Luckily, she was good to go and perform shortly after.

Besides the one hiccup, Shields opened up in the interview about being healthy and happy. “I love food and I love alcohol and I love life and I want to be healthy for my heart,” she said. “I don’t like going to the gym. I like Pilates. That’s where I am. And I am tired of not feeling skinny enough. It’s boring and it’s a waste of my time.”

As for her body, Shields is trying not to be too nit-picky. “I wish stuff was a little higher, and I have a bit of a belly that I never had, and I could lose it if I really, really wanted to try, but I would rather spend that time having lunch, reading a book, walking, buying a piece of jewelry, going to my daughter’s games,” she admitted.

But, who knows, if health scares mean more time with Bradley Cooper, maybe they could be worth it? Kidding!
