Demi Moore turned 60 years old last year and it’s easy to see that she’s loving this season of her life. As a new grandmother, she’s relishing in her maternal role while living her best era yet — confident, happy, and healthy.
She shared snapshots of her September vacation that proves she’s also putting her fitness first. This wasn’t a luxurious beachside vacation; this was an incredibly adventurous rafting trip through the Grand Canyon via the Colorado River. Moore showed off stunning scenery and bonding moments with her pals, but it’s her waterfall photo that has everyone talking.
Wearing a tiny black string bikini, Moore flaunted her fit physique and toned abs, surrounded by the beauty of nature. (See the photo HERE.) She looked so free as she raised her hands to the sky and let the presumably icy cold water rush down her body. The simplicity of letting everything go and just enjoying the moment was perfectly captured in the image. She tried to sum up with words what this trip meant to her, writing in the caption, “I will never truly be able to describe the many ways that this recent nature immersion has impacted me. Standing on the banks of the Colorado River as we all took in its magnificence and beauty, I was reminded of the urgent need to preserve and protect this vital lifeline.”
Moore has been one of major voices in Hollywood defying the definition of aging. She’s telling the world that it’s about a feeling, not a look. “It’s changing this idea that women become less desirable as we get older,” she toldPeople in 2022. “We don’t want to look matronly or not feel sexy.” From the looks of it, Moore is nailing the definition of sexy and we love that her 60s decade is making her feel so good.
