There’s always going to be speculation regarding Jennifer Lopez and Ben Affleck‘s marriage. The couple, who commemorated their one-year wedding anniversary this past summer, has been fairly private in this new phase of their romance, roughly two decades after they first started dating. But their latest public appearance proves they’re just as in love as ever.
Bennifer 2.0 attended last night’s LACMA Art + Film Gala in Los Angeles and looked so incredibly loved up. The twosome, both clad in Gucci, posed for photos while attending the evening’s celebrations. Only, when they got ready for the camera to flash, they didn’t beam at the lens — Affleck and Lopez smiled brightly at one another.
One snapshot, taken inside the event, featured a rather candid moment where Lopez and Affleck looked at each other with wide smiles. They couldn’t take their eyes off one another. A second photo, captured of the pair outdoors, featured the two gazing adoringly at each other. At this point, it sort of goes without saying, but we were definitely swooning.
The couple’s recent date night comes just a few weeks after reports circulated that the two weren’t exactly seeing eye-to-eye when it came to Affleck’s connection with his former wife and co-parent Jennifer Garner, with whom he shares three children. More recently, though, it seems like Lopez and Affleck are silencing gossips with moments like this, and Lopez’s own sweet loving words for Affleck. We’re never going to know everything about what goes on in a very public couple’s relationship. But from where we stand, it seems like Lopez and Affleck are stronger than they ever have been before.
