If the royal family thought Prince Harry’s Spare was going to be the only book to cause them to stress this year, they might want to look closely at Omid Scobie’s next book, Endgame: Inside the Royal Family and the Monarchy’s Fight for Survival. The Nov. 28 tell-all publication is set to look at the palace in less-than-flattering terms, and for Prince William, it might be a rough ride

The Amazon description already sets the stage for another explosive round of headlines by describing the members of the House of Windsor as “an unpopular king, a power-hungry heir to the throne, a queen willing to go to dangerous lengths to preserve her image, and a prince forced to start a new life after being betrayed by his own family.” A royal insider spoke to the Daily Mailabout the alleged contents of the book. “I’ve been told this is bad, very bad. It is unlikely that Royal aides will comment, but if there are charges of racism, they will, of course, be robustly rebutted,” they said.

The U.K. media outlet also revealed the alleged titles of the chapters — and boy, are they juicy! “Shaky Ground: The Queen is Dead,” “The Monarchy Faces Trouble,” “The Fall of Prince Andrew: Scandal, Shame, and Silencing Jane Doe,” “Race and the Royals: Institutional Bigotry and Denial,” “Gloves On: Prince William, Heir to the Throne,” and “Gloves Off: Prince Harry, Man on a Mission.” A publishing source also claimed that the book “is going to have bombshell after bombshell” and that royal watchers should be prepared that Scobie “may name the person who questioned what color Archie’s skin would be.”

The royal family largely ignored Prince Harry’s memoir, but Scobie has already warned that he’s revealing insider details that the palace should be “ashamed of.” King Charles III and Prince William only have weeks to prepare their latest PR strategy, but it sounds like shots have been fired against them again.
