David & Victoria Beckham Reportedly Realize That His Alleged Mistress Has the Upper Hand in Affair Narrative

David and Victoria Beckham might have thought they had the last word about his alleged affair and how it made them feel in his Netflix docuseries, Beckham, but somebody else had another idea. Rebecca Loos, one of his reported affair partners, wasn’t going to let their side of the story be the final truth — and it’s allegedly put the Beckhams in a difficult position. 

Even though David has denied the affair for two decades, Loos is exhausted from the retired soccer star “playing the victim” in this situation. “It’s all ‘poor me,'” Loos told the Daily Mail. “He needs to take responsibility. I understand he has an image to preserve, but he is portraying himself as the victim and he’s making me look like a liar. He’s indirectly suggesting that I’m the one who has made Victoria suffer.”

It’s baffling to think that the Beckhams didn’t anticipate Loos coming out of the woodwork after her name resurfaced in the headlines again, but the result “has left David squirming and Victoria feeling super embarrassed and upset,” according to a National Enquirer insider, via RadarOnline. The power couple now realizes that “there’s not much they can do” about Loos speaking out to defend herself. 

“If they go after Rebecca legally, it’ll just create a giant circus,” the source added. “So it’s likely they’ll just have to suck it up and deal with the humiliation.” If only everyone had been upfront about the truth to begin with, then no one would be in this tricky situation. Loos probably wouldn’t have come forward to the press a second time around, but the Beckhams forced her back into the spotlight after dancing around the issue in the docuseries.
