When the world was mesmerized by Cindy Crawford at the height of her career in the ’90s and early 2000s, little did we know she would soon become mom to her mini-me, Kaia Gerber. And, of course, in addition to looking just like Crawford, 22-year-old Kaia, whom she shares with longtime husbandRande Gerber, followed in her mother’s modeling footsteps.
And while Kaia has paved her way into the modeling industry all by herself, and even starred in hit movies like Bottoms and hit shows like American Horror Story, every once in a while she reminds us of how similar she is to her mama.
On Nov. 14, she did just that as she walked the carpet with Crawford at Planet Omega’s Fashion Panel & Cocktail Reception. For the event, the two perfectly color-coordinated in all-black looks. Kaia wore a high-waisted pleated mini skirt, a black semi-sheer turtleneck, black heels and her hair pinned up. Crawford, on the other hand, wore a plunging black dress, black leather boots and a matching black bag.
Looking at the many pictures of the duo on the carpet, it’s clear to see that they were having a blast at the event as they smiled and hugs between flashes. According to People, Crawford, who’s a longtime partner of Omega, even joked to photographers about how much taller her daughter is compared to her. “Just in case you’re wondering, she has longer legs than me,” The Super Models star told the cameras.
Prior to their twinning red carpet moment, the two rocked incredible Halloween looks at Annual Casamigos Halloween Party on Oct. 27. Crawford and her husband, who also co-hosted the star-studded event, dressed up as Grease‘s Sandy and Danny Zuko. Kaia, on the other hand, was joined by her boyfriend Austin Butler as they dressed up as Andy Warhol and his longtime superstar Edie Sedgwick. Talk about a fashionable and supportive family!
