Sofía Vergara didn’t have anything to worry about when she split with Joe Manganiello because she had a BFF who had her back. Julie Bowen, Vergara’s former Modern Family co-star, shared just how tight the women are even years after their long-running series ended.

Bowen promisedUs Weekly that her 51-year-old bestie got “lots of love and support” amid the shocking breakup. “She never ever hasn’t had close ties with her family and friends,” she explained. “So when there’s a bump in the road, everybody circles the wagons, and we love her extra hard.” It’s sweet to hear how everyone rallied around Vergara and that probably helped her through those challenging days.

Bowen promised that Vergara is on the right track and her fans don’t have anything to worry about. “I got to be honest, she’s great. She’s doing great,” she revealed. She also thinks that her pal isn’t going to have any trouble dating any man she wants on the planet, joking that Vergara must have made a “deal with the devil” because she “gets hotter every year.”

Vergara is reportedly enjoying the company of orthopedic surgeon Dr. Justin Saliman and her ex is currently dating actress Caitlyn O’Connor. The former duo announced their split in July after seven years of marriage and blamed it on their diverging interests in life. There wasn’t much drama surrounding their breakup — compared to other celeb couples this summer. Vergara and Manganiello have quietly settled their differences and are now waiting for their divorce to be finalized. But if Vergara needs anything — ever — Bowen is ready to pick up the pieces.
