Ever since Meghan Markle and Prince Harry left the British Royal family, people have wanted insight into their Hollywood lives. While we’ve seen them dabble in philanthropy, Netflix documentaries, memoirs, and a podcast, it seems one job avenue keeps coming up more than others, especially for Meghan.

People have theorized the Duchess of Sussex would be a lifestyle mogul, un-retired actor, or even be a politician; but it seems she has her eyes and heart set on producing. Meghan and Harry have been working on producing a few Netflix projects in the past year, but Meghan may be expanding her producing empire (and her latest outing at the 2023 Variety Power of Women event proves it)!

While she was seen conversing with plenty of A-listers, Meghan was seen chatting up the most with Janet Yang and Pearlena Igbokwe, per The Blast.

For those who don’t know, these powerful women are major players, with Yang being the current president of the organization in charge of the Oscars and Igbokwe being the current chairman of Universal Studio Group.

This, along with her response on the red carpet, where she told reporters, “We have so many exciting things on the slate. I can’t wait until we can announce them, but I’m just really proud of what we’re creating,” has people convinced she’s about to step into her powerful producer era.
