Gwyneth Paltrow has been an enigma since she came onto the acting scene, and ever since she founded Goop, people have been scratching their heads with her antics. Paltrow has found herself in controversy time and time again over the years, but apparently, one of her biggest, most publicized controversies is going… to the theater?

That’s right, the Shakespeare in Love actress’ legal battle with an optometrist is becoming a musical, specifically the legal trial that went viral for all the videos that came out of the courtroom.

Awkward Productions is debuting a play entitled Gwyneth Goes Skiing at London’s Pleasance Theatre, and it’ll run for a little less than two weeks, per NBC News.

For those who don’t know, the play is based on the court battle between Paltrow and Terry Sanderson, who sued her for a ski indecent that alleged the crash caused permanent traumatic brain injury. Paltrow counter-sued, claiming he was the one who crashed into her, and she ended up winning the case in March 2023.

Per the same outlet, the play’s logline reads: “She’s the Goop-founding, Door-Sliding, Shakespeare-In-Loving, consciously-uncoupling Hollywood superstar. He’s a retired Optometrist from Utah. In 2016, they went skiing. On the slopes of Deer Valley, their worlds collided, and so did they — literally. Ouch. Seven years later in 2023, they went to court. Double ouch. This is their story. Kind of. Not really. But also, it’s at Christmas.”

We’re still around a month out, but we do know that it’ll star Linus Karp and Terry Sanderson, feature music from RuPaul’s Drag Race alum Leland, and the audience members can play the jury.
