And while some of her milestones received more backlash than others, her latest career move proves she’s never ready to back away from a challenge.
According to Deadline, The Kardashians star is slated to star and produce a new comedy film titled The 5th Wheel. That’s right, after her somewhat controversial time as Siobhan in the latest season of American Horror Story, titled American Horror Story: Delicate, Kardashian is doubling down on her acting chops.
Per the outlet, the movie, which will be scripted by Paula Pell and Janine Brito, has already “multiple bids” with five studios battling for the package. Also according to the outlet, this project isn’t something that the Skims founder is taking lightly. In fact, she’s taken a “very hands on” approach and has appeared in each meeting to deliver the pitch. Kudos to you, Kim!
Prior to her role in AHS, Kardashian had a limited experience in acting, including lending her voice to a few Paw Patrol movies and playing herself in productions like Ocean’s Eight and 2 Broke Girls.
Therefore, when Kardashian graced the silver screen in AHS, fans and critics alike tuned in to see the result. The reviews, overall, were a mixed bag. “Kim Kardashian is kinda slaying in this new American Horror Story episode,” wrote another user. “I was impressed by Kim Kardashian,” echoed another.
