Amanda Seyfried Looks Radiant in a Sheer Gown While Speaking at an Event in Shanghai

Who says true goddesses only exist in mythology? Mean Girls icon Amanda Seyfried proved they walk among us, glowing in all their resplendent glory. The Jennifer’s Body star recently bewitched everyone at a Lancôme event in Shanghai, China, with her sheer elegance and golden aura.

Seyfried graced the event in a breathtakingly beautiful gown from Elie Saab’s Fall 2023 Haute Couture collection. The sheer, chiffon dress, which was discreetly cinched at the waist, appeared to simply float over Seyfried’s frame. The gorgeous gown was adorned with delicate pearls and gold beading, giving even bigger goddess vibes.

Her celestial couture look was only elevated by her accessorizing. Seyfried completed the look with a statement necklace, complete with beading and drop pearls that perfectly complemented the ones on her flowing gown. As she moved, you’d swear a starry night sky had taken a break to add its sparkle to her outfit, with each glimmer playing a lively game of peek-a-boo on her ensemble. And luckily for Seyfried, this golden gown didn’t suffer from an almost-wardrobe malfunction like one earlier this year.

Seyfried also shared a series of snaps during her time at the glamorous time in Shanghai for the event on Instagram.

“It was a PLEASURE to bring @lancomeofficial’s The Louvre to Shanghai. I love the magic of this city,” she captioned the celebratory post, which featured photos of Seyfried in the stunning gown standing next to a model of the Louvre for the event.

Fans seemed obsessed with Seyfried’s ethereal gown — not that you could blame them! “What a dream! And that gown 🤩🤩🤩” commented one fan. “SLAYING 😍” succinctly commented another.
