Everyone from The Morning Show is showstopping both in the hit series and in real life, and star Greta Lee is no exception. Whenever Lee steps onto a red carpet, all eyes are instantly on her (and her amazing ensembles that always end up being at the top of the best-dressed lists). And in case you missed her appearance at this year’s Gotham Awards, it was a true showstopper.

On Nov 27, 2023, so many stars gathered for the Gotham Awards, which is an American film award that honors independent projects. And Lee, like always, arrived in style at the event held at Cipriani Wall Street. See the photos below:

As you can see in the photos, Lee looks sensational in this sheer black Loewe dress that lets her confidently free the nipple. In the look styled by Danielle Goldberg, we also see that the dress has daring cutouts for her to show off her toned physique, along with minimal accessories like pointed black shoes, so she remains the focus of the ensemble.

We love a “free the nipple” moment, and Lee truly rocked the trend effortlessly.

Now, for those who don’t know, Lee plays the cutthroat character Stella Bak, who is the President of UBA’s news division and has been a main character since season two. In a previous interview with Town and Country, Lee talked about how she got to help create her character’s wardrobe, along with discussing her love of fashion.

“I have never had a wardrobe like this before. I mean, I do love clothes personally. And so it was a complete dream to wear exclusively Prada and Balenciaga and Chanel—like vintage Chanel,” she started. “I just loved that they leaned into like she’s a boss, she’s a wunderkind, she does incredibly well. I mean, she’s a killer. So thinking about what she would wear was so much fun.”

She added, “And yeah, I got to collaborate and think about that—and what modern workplace wear, what that looks like for a self-identifying kind of rule breaker and visionary was fun.”
