Lisa Marie Presley’s Half-Brother Shared His Unfiltered Thoughts on Why He Doesn’t Miss Her

When Lisa Marie Presley suddenly passed away earlier this year, her friends and family were incredibly saddened by her passing. Tributes poured in left and right from across the globe for the star who passed too soon, including a tribute from her half-brother, Navarone Garibaldi. However, he reportedly told an unfiltered side of his story about their relationship on his Instagram Live.

He reportedly talked about Lisa Marie, specifically about how he feels about her passing, via OK. “You’re entitled to your opinion [about Lisa Marie],” he started. “I’m sure she was good to some. I have made peace. I’m not gonna to lie and say I miss her, but I’ll say it’s strange.”

He added, “But sometimes I get egged on when people ask me questions, and I just blurt out the first thing that comes to my mind. It’s not like I plan on it, just can’t help myself.”

Garibaldi then detailed what she was like when she drank alcohol. “She’d decide to go off and tell you everything that’s wrong with you and your life. It was pretty destructful [sic],” he said. “I never got angry like that, I never said anything I didn’t mean when I smoked pot, but she would say really awful things to me that kind of kept us from being close when she would drink.”

Now, this isn’t the first time he’s alluded to their relationship being a bit strained. Back in Jan 13, he posted a tribute to her, saying, “Big sister… i hope you are now at peace and happy with your Dad and your son by your side. I know the past couple years weren’t easy for you, and I wish things had been different between us. regardless, you are my sister and I’m sending love and prayers for your journey home. I still can’t believe this, I’m lost for words. Love you sis. Beijos. 💔”

For those who don’t know, Garibaldi is the only son of Priscilla Presley and Marco Garibaldi, and he had a half-sister from his mother named Lisa Marie, who was born nearly 20 years before him.
