If Piers Morgan isn’t criticizing Meghan Markle, then it is usually Angela Levin who is stirring the pot in the royal family feud. She made claims on GB News that the Duchess of Sussex’s Hollywood career is in major jeopardy after Kate Middleton and King Charles III were named alleged “royal racists” in Omid Scobie’s biography, Endgame: Inside the Royal Family and the Monarchy’s Fight for Survival.
Levin believes that Meghan’s new talent agents at William Morris Endeavor (WME) are “horrified” by how the revelations are going to hurt her brand. “It seems to me that they will think very carefully what they do next. I have never heard such a well-known agency be clear with how they feel,” she said. “Meghan needs to be very careful. A lot of people have dropped her. The agency has told her to ‘stop moaning’ because people are ‘getting fed up’ with it.” The royal critic then doubled down on her alleged insider information by adding, “It is going to be very difficult to get the glamour she wants.”
Those claims seem a little harsh, considering Scobie didn’t even want the names mentioned in the book when it came to the race issue. It seems a bit far-fetched that WME would even think about dropping her as a client for something that is way out of her control, especially when she did not cooperate in any way with the writing process. Even GB News anchor Patrick Christys pushed back on Levin’s assertions by mentioning that Meghan stands to make the agency “a lot of money.” Levin had an answer that didn’t really make sense in the end. “They could make lots of money, but I think she is someone who needs to be adored all the time by the public,” she responded.
Meghan revealed last month at Variety‘s Power of Women event that she has a lot of thrilling projects ahead. “We have so many exciting things on the slate. I can’t wait until we can announce them, but I’m just really proud of what we’re creating,” she gushed. “My husband is loving it, too. It’s really fun.” So, it’s pretty doubtful WME is even reconsidering their business partnership with Meghan, much to Levin’s chagrin.
