Ivanka Trump and Jared Kushner seem to be trying hard to make their way back into the good graces of socialites in the Miami scene — and it might be working. The couple, who took a major step back from their political lives after Donald Trump‘s administration ended in January 2021, have largely stayed out of the spotlight. In recent months, both Ivanka and Kushner have been spotted attending higher profile events which might signal a return to their former elite social circles.

The duo enjoyed night out at Art Basel in Miami Beach where they attended an event at celebrity hotspot, Casadonna. A Page Six source saw them hanging out in the DJ booth along with supermodel Alessandra Ambrosio. And that wasn’t the only A-list guest in attendance, Art Basel fan Leonardo DiCaprio was there with girlfriend Vittoria Ceretti, and TikTok superstar Alix Earle stopped by with her NFL boyfriend, Braxton Berrios.

So far, Ivanka has held true to her word that she did not want “to be involved in politics” any longer. She said in her 2022 statement, “While I will always love and support my father, going forward I will do so outside the political arena.” Ivanka and Kushner reportedly felt shunned by their former NYC friends after they left Washington, D.C. They were “unhappy about how a lot of their friends turned their back on them” because being too closely aligned with Donald Trump was a “negative” experience for “her circle of friends,” per a New York Post source.

Ivanka was invited back to the Hollywood table by Kim Kardashian in October, which is a huge sign that she’s being welcomed back to the fold. However, a CNN insider noted that designers were shutting the door on front-row fashion show invites. “The fashion industry is a very liberal, Democratic-leaning group,” they said, “and I just don’t see them welcoming them back — professionally or socially — with open arms.” It’s a slow return for Ivanka and Kushner because their involvement in Donald Trump’s four-year administration might have been the most divisive move they have ever made.
