Prince William & Kate Middleton Revealed Another Snapshot From Their Christmas Card Photo Shoot

There are a few traditions we expect to see during the British royal family’s Christmas celebrations. The walk to Christmas services, King Charles’ holiday address, and the collection of holiday and Christmas cards from distinguished family members. But longtime royal fans got a major surprise on Christmas Day, thanks to a new photo posted to Prince William and Kate Middleton‘s Instagram account.

Early Christmas morning, the Prince and Princess of Wales posted a brand new photo of their kids to their official Instagram account. The black-and-white snapshot, captured by Josh Shinner, features Prince Louis, Princess Charlotte, and Prince George sitting together on a bench in matching white tops and dark pants (or in Louis’ case shorts). The trio was all smiles, even though Louis looked like he had the tiniest hint of a mischievous expression on his face.

“Wishing everyone a very Merry Christmas, from our family to yours! W & C,” reads the caption on the photo. The photo comes from the same session the Wales family used for their official 2023 Christmas card. In the official portrait, William and Kate stand alongside their three children while smiling for the camera. While it might’ve been a relatable snapshot at first, the Prince and Princess of Wales reportedly felt “embarrassed” by some of the alleged photoshop errors pointed out by fans in the Christmas card picture.

This time around, however, the comment section was full of lots of love and well wishes to the Prince and Princess of Wales and their kids. We truly weren’t expecting this cute photo to appear on our Instagram feeds on Christmas morning. But it was really a fun gift from the royal family.
