The royal family needs help with royal engagements and three names have been in the mix to help King Charles III get the job done: Princess Beatrice, Princess Eugenie, an Lady Louise Windsor. However, there is something looming in the background for Prince Andrew‘s daughters that may have them skipped over for the royal promotion.
A source for the Express claimed that an “emergency meeting” was held to figure out a way to beef up the royal family’s appearances in 2024. It is said that Princess Anne is one of Charles’ main critics of his “slimmed-down monarchy” approach. With these three worthy young women possibly on the roster, the palace is hoping to put a better foot forward in 2024. However, they have another major crisis looming: the Jeffrey Epstein court documents.
With Prince Andrew’s name likely to make an appearance in the upcoming released papers, royal expert Richard Fitzwilliams believes this will put a roadblock in Eugenie and Beatrice’s promotion. “I think it would have been a different situation if Andrew had not been in disgrace,” he told GB News, via the Express. “But as it is, I don’t think that is likely.” That leaves one person to take on royal duties once they have time in their schedule. “There might be the possibility of Lady Louise Windsor [becoming a working royal] once she has finished her studies,” he added.
Louise is just 20 years old and is still studying at St Andrews University in Scotland, so her classes are currently the priority for her. With another Prince Andrew scandal likely coming and Lady Louise tied up with her studies, it leaves King Charles with a massive royal dilemma on his hands.
The Duke of York has already settled a sexual abuse civil suit with Virginia Giuffre for $14 million and The Daily Beast is reporting that he will be accused of fondling Johanna Sjoberg once the Epstein documents are unsealed, which could be as early as Tuesday, Jan. 2. It will be another dark chapter in Prince Andrew’s tale and it’s quite possible that Princess Eugenie and Princess Beatrice will be unfairly punished for their dad’s misdeeds.
