One celebrity couple that a lot of people can’t seem to get a read on, whether they’re truly in a good place or perpetually in a state of fighting, is Jennifer Lopez and Ben Affleck. Now, listen, as we’ve established before, couples fight, and you can learn and grow from them. However, many fans seem to be worried over the number of fights that have even been caught on camera, and wondering about the longevity of this marriage.
Something to always keep in mind is that we’re not the ones in the relationship, we don’t know the intricacies, and even insiders may get it wrong. However, quite a few insiders revealed to OK Magazine that they believe this marriage is going to blow up simply because Lopez ignored the red flags earlier in the relationship.
“This is asking for trouble. Jen says she and Ben have PTSD from all the scrutiny the first time around, and then in the next breath she’s promoting this movie about their relationship. She’s so caught up in this romance fantasy, no one can tell her to put the brakes on, not even Ben,” the insider said. “All the social media posts and constant PDA, it’s already over the top. Now using her marriage and private moments to promote her album is serving her relationship up on a platter for the public to devour again.”
They scathingly added, “Everyone’s predicting it will blow up in her face.”
It’s easy to get caught up with love when wearing rose-colored glasses, but after a few marriage, we’re sure Lopez has a better handle on it than insiders may think.
For those that don’t know, Lopez and Affleck were together from 2002 to 2004 after meeting on the set of Gigli. A few years later, they called off their engagement. But they rekindled their romance in 2021, and they tied the knot a year later. They’ve since been spending a lot of time together and with their blended family, despite both being in-demand A-listers in Hollywood, and have sadly been seen fighting a lot the past few months.
