Taylor Swift & Travis Kelce Reportedly Have a Timeline To Become Mr. & Mrs.

Are Taylor Swift‘s fans ready for a Travis Kelce engagement? It sounds like the dynamic duo is making plans for their future and the timeline is all mapped out if sources are to be believed. The summer of 2024 could be the start of the couple’s happily ever after.

Swift and Kelce were reportedly eager to get engaged sooner versus later, according to Page Six sources. A Christmas and a Valentine’s Day engagement was floated out there, but the couple decided to pass on that idea because “they don’t want it to seem like it’s rushed insanity.” They probably didn’t want the input or criticism from people who would go on an “it’s too soon” rant.

A Swiftie insider seems to have the scoop on the exact timeline, divulging, “Taylor and Travis discussed it and there is a plan. They will get engaged on their one-year anniversary in July.” While fans didn’t become aware of the couple’s existence until late August, Swift and Kelce did a great job of hiding their romance from the world until they were ready to go public.

Their first date happened just after Kelce tried to shoot his shot and failed with the 34-year-old singer at her Eras Tour concert at Arrowhead Stadium in July. A mystery pal connected them shortly after the athlete’s romantic attempt. “We started hanging out right after that,” Swift told Time. “So we actually had a significant amount of time that no one knew, which I’m grateful for, because we got to get to know each other. I think some people think that they saw our first date at that game. We would never be psychotic enough to hard launch a first date.”

The couple has been well aware of the optics surrounding their relationship and they’ve been careful not to make any missteps since Swifties are heavily invested in their romance. While they are savvy about PR, this isn’t a PR relationship, and Swift made sure the world understood where they stand in their love.

“When you say a relationship is public, that means I’m going to see him do what he loves, we’re showing up for each other, other people are there and we don’t care…,” she explained. “The opposite of that is you have to go to an extreme amount of effort to make sure no one knows that you’re seeing someone. And we’re just proud of each other.” It sure sounds like these two lovebirds are ready to become Mr. and Mrs.
