While fans of Kelly Clarkson can enjoy the star almost every day on their TV screens on The Kelly Clarkson Show, there’s nothing quite like a live showing. After all, while her celebrity interviews and hilarious games are one-of-a-kind, her impressive vocal chops always have us belting and/or crying in just a few notes.
So, of course, fans of the TV host rejoiced this week when she announced two new concert dates in just a few months. “Just announced!” Clarkson wrote on Instagram. “I’m coming to Hard Rock Live in Atlantic City for 2 nights on May 10 & 11. Tickets on sale now!”
What Can Fans Expect From the Show?
Prior to the announcement, Clarkson’s latest (albeit brief) tour happened in Las Vegas last year titled “chemistry…an intimate night with Kelly Clarkson.” The 10-show residency, which was named after her newest album, Chemistry, included a mix of her classic hits and her newer songs.
Among the classics sung were “Because Of You,” “Since U Been Gone” and “Stronger (What Doesn’t Kill You),” People reports. And, in addition to singing her own songs, Clarkson also continued her Kellyoke segment live on stage with some covers, including “As It Was” by Harry Styles.
“We’re trying to make it special for everybody,” she said in an Instagram video at the time, per People. “We’re hitting all the new songs from the album in there somewhere. We’re hitting the ones you want to hear, and if we’re not, then you’re just being demanding because we’re singing a lot of songs.”
Clarkson’s new shows, taking place on May 10 and May 11, will definitely be just as special.
