Chrissy Teigen Just Revealed the Hilarious Interaction Between John Legend & Her Reality Star Crush

Recently, stars have been on a roll of showing just how much they admire each other. From Brie Larson fangirling over Jennifer Lopez at the Golden Globes to Natalie Portman and Rihanna praising each other at Paris Fashion Week, it seems like celebrities have been all over each other recently. That is, however, until Chrissy Teigen shared the awkward interaction her husband John Legend shared with one of her favorite reality stars.

During an interview on Andy Chohen’s SiriusXM radio show, Andy Cohen Live, Teigen remembered an awkward yet hilarious story between herself, Legend and Summer House star Carl Radke, per People.

According to Teigen, it all started when she and Radke met for the first time at the Sundance Film Festival and she invited him to join her private plane back to New York. “I have never met Carl. I’ve never spoken to him,” she said. “But we saw each other at, I think, the Variety booth thing, and, in my mind, he had a really complicated flight back to New York.”

“He didn’t,” she then said. “It was like a Delta first-class direct, but I was like, ‘You should come with us.'”

When Teigen then joined the plane with the reality star, however, it seems like Legend was quite taken aback. “It was really funny actually because John was seated already and then Carl came on and John was still sitting, like, he didn’t pop up to give him a big hug or anything,” Teigen remembered, noting it was somewhat out-of-character for him.

“And then, Carl so graciously came over. He was like, ‘Hey man, I just want to say thank you so much. I love you,'” she remembered. Legend’s reaction to the compliments, however, hinted at just a bit of jealousy. “It was so sweet, and John was just like, for a minute, I could see John being a little like…”

At that point, Cohen interjected and reiterated how good-lucking Radke is. “He’s got the tight pants, and he looks great,” Teigen agreed. “He’s sober, and he’s just like a really wonderful personality like you said. He just seems like a fun, cool dude.”

Despite the initial awkward first impression, however, it seems like neither Teigen nor Legend could continue their conversation with Radke. “He did pass out immediately and I had so many questions,” she hilariously shared. Looks like the future of this unexpected trio is a story for another day!
