Leave it to Mariah Carey to positively take our collective breath away with her latest major industry event look. While the Grammy Awards take place tonight, last evening the stars went all out for a pre-Grammy Awards party. Among everyone who attended, though, no one quite matched the incredible wintertime chic look the mom of two pulled off.
Carey looked absolutely dazzling in a CD Greene silver sequined gown at the Pre-Grammy Gala & Grammy Salute to Industry Icons last night. The singer’s gown featured spaghetti straps and large sequins cascading down the entirety of the dress. One detail we absolutely loved, however, were the cutouts featured on either sides of Carey’s gown. Just take a look at the snapshot below.
The Grammy-winning singer accessorized her look with a pair of glittering silver earrings and a bracelet. This dress was really the centerpiece of Carey’s look, so we’re not surprised she went minimal on the accessories. Her makeup was done to picture-perfection, and her hair was styled in quintessential soft waves.
We always love seeing Carey’s style take centerstage at any industry event or red carpet. The singer’s classic sartorial statements always makes Carey stand out. We cannot wait to see what her next fashion statement will be.
