Insiders Reveal Where Kate Middleton Stands on Prince William’s List of Priorities Amid Royal Crisis

2024 has been full of curveballs for the British royal family, especially with their health. Many were shocked when news broke about Kate Middleton and King Charles III’s hospital stays for abdominal surgery and prostate surgery, respectively. Then, many were even more shocked to hear about Charles’s cancer diagnosis. Amid all of this, many have wondered how Prince William is doing being in the middle of it all.

His wife is on bed rest until after Easter, according to many reports, and now his father is dealing with his cancer diagnosis. In the blink of an eye, his royal duties have become a lower priority, which begs the question: what is his biggest priority right now?

Palace insiders told the Daily Mail that Kate remains William’s main priority.

“The Prince has always made clear that his priority is to support his wife and family for the time being – and he did not put a timescale on that. He will make a return to duties on Wednesday but you should not expect to see him again for a bit after that,” they said, adding that Charles is “100 percent” backing up his son’s choices as he navigates this.

They said, “The King adores Catherine and thinks she is doing a wonderful job. He understands that family comes first.”

Insiders have discussed how William has been handling the bulk of home responsibilities since Kate is recovering, has been in full dad mode with their three kids, and has been ultra-protective of Kate over the series of unfounded rumors surrounding her surgery. And it seems he’ll continue to be so for as long as she needs it, and let’s face it, we love supportive husbands.

For those who don’t know, William and Kate married in 2011 after their on-and-off-again relationship that happened from 2003 to 2010.
