Sofía Vergara is wholly embracing this new chapter in her life. The Modern Family alum and four-time Emmy nominee has a new project on Netflix and her dating life appears to be going well too. By all accounts Vergara’s life is just blossoming following her divorce from former husband Joe Manganiello, and she’s completely unbothered by her ex’s own dating life.
“Sofía is having fun and doing her thing. She’s not looking to be tied down,” a source shared with Entertainment Tonight. The Griselda star “is focused on herself and enjoying dating,” the source said, adding she’s “ready for this new chapter.” Vergara isn’t the only one embracing this new phase in her life.

Manganiello made his red carpet debut with his new GF, Caitlin O’Connor, back in December 2023. The new couple have kept things pretty low-key, but as far as Vergara’s concerned, she’s completely unbothered by her former spouse’s new romance. “His relationship with Caitlin doesn’t faze her,” ET‘s source said, adding Vergara “wishes Joe the best.”
Vergara and Manganiello tied the knot back in November 2015. In July 2023, the couple released a joint statement stating that they were ending their relationship. Just last month, Vergara opened up about the reason the former couple’s marriage ended. “Well, I’m newly divorced from my second husband, who I was with for 10 years. My marriage broke up because my husband was younger,” she said in an interview with El País. “He wanted to have kids and I didn’t want to be an old mom.”
There’s already been a lot of speculation around Vergara’s dating life since her split from Manganiello. Regardless if she’s single or coupled up, the actress seems to be embracing this new journey and living her life to the fullest.
