This Celebrity Says She Had the ‘Worst Time’ Guest Starring on The Office & We’re Pretty Shocked

In an ideal world, the entire cast of our favorite comfort TV show would get along. But sometimes, especially toward the end of a beloved series, that just isn’t what happens. One A-list actor who guest starred on the final episode of The Office opened up about what it was like being on the show, and we’re pretty surprised by what she had to say.

“That was honestly the worst time of my life,” Dakota Johnson said during her recent appearance on Late Night with Seth Meyers, referring to her time filming the final episode of the series with the cast. Sure, there was a tinge of sarcasm to the Madame Web star’s voice. But then she revealed a few more details about her time on the show back in 2013. “They were like, ‘Do you want to be in the series finale?’ And I was like, ‘Of course,’ thinking that I’d show up for like half a day. And I was there for two weeks, and I’m barely in the f–king show,” she said.

Johnson explained that, while she was excited to be on set with the cast and crew from a show she loved, the vibes were a bit off. “There were weird dynamics that had been going on for the last 10 years. Some people didn’t speak to each other,” the actress said. “And I’m coming in like, ‘So excited to be here!’ And no one wanted to talk to me. No one gave a f–k…I was like in the background of all of these scenes, faxing things.”

Prior to her small role on The Office, Johnson was on her own sitcomBen & Kate, which only lasted for 16 episodes. Two years later, Johnson had her biggest breakthrough when she starred in the Fifty Shades of Grey adaptation. Since then, Johnson has been one of the most in-demand actresses, appearing in films like Suspiria, The Lost Daughter, and the upcoming superhero movie Madame Web.

Despite Johnson’s very awkward time on The Office, we’re still fans of the show to this day. The series ran from 2005-2013 and made major stars out of cast members like Steve Carell, Mindy Kaling, John Krasinski, Jenna Fischer, and more. Naturally, the rumor mill has been running wild with speculation that the cast might get together for a reboot. Who knows? If that happens, maybe Johnson will be asked back? We can hope, people.
