Swizz Beatz’s Reaction to Wife Alicia Keys’ Super Bowl Performance Has Us Rethinking Any Raised Eyebrows

During Usher‘s Super Bowl Halftime Show on Sunday, viewers took home a series of takeaways. Whether it’s how well Usher dances, how incredible it is that he managed to include so many guest stars (from H.E.R. to Ludacris and Lil’ Jon), or just how many catchy songs he has, the Halftime Show was quite a memorable one. One takeaway that was not so positive, however, seemed to take over the internet: Usher and Alicia Keys‘ intimate hug.

The moment, which happened while the two performed their rendition of “My Boo” included Usher hugging Keys from behind while they sang and swayed from side to side. And while the moment was sweet for many viewers, some fans raised eyebrows online about them being a little too handsy.

Luckily, however, Keys’ husband, rapper Swizz Beatz, is clearing the air. “Y’all talking about the wrong damn thing !!!” Beatz, who’s been married to Keys since 2010, wrote on Instagram. “y’all don’t see that amazing dress covering the entire stadium ⚡️🚨😂😂😮‍💨😮‍💨😮‍💨😮‍💨.”

Alongside the caption, Beatz posted a series of pictures of his wife on the big day including her singing at the piano, smiling while performing with Usher and showing off her red bedazzled look before the show.

“Tonight’s performance was nothing but amazing with 2 amazing Giants !” Beatz continued in his caption. “Congrats @usher and my love @aliciakeys that song is a classic 🤍 We don’t do negative vibes on this side we make history ✌🏽.” Talk about a supportive husband!

And, in addition to Beatz’s support for Keys, Usher’s longtime significant other, Jennifer Goicoechea, gave her ultimate show of support recently: they tied the knot! The ceremony, which was confirmed by People, took place in Las Vegas over the weekend.

Looks like these two couples are celebrating each other and staying away from the rumors. We love to see it!
