A trip to Canada to promote next year’s Invictus Games wasn’t going to stop Prince Harry and Meghan Markle from celebrating Valentine’s Day. The couple took the night off to honor their romance with an intimate dinner at Il Caminetto, an upscale Italian spot in Whistler.
The couple was spotted exiting the venue with big smiles across their faces as they left through the back door. (You can see the photos HERE.) Meghan wore the color of the day with a red cape-like coat and wide-leg black pants. Harry looked laid-back in his navy-blue sweater paired with dark-wash jeans, and surprisingly, no jacket despite the chilly weather. He chivalrously escorted his wife to their SUV as she cozied up to his bicep.
Inside the restaurant, the royal duo also kept the heat on high with their usual PDA, according to a Daily Mail source. “They sat in a secluded corner of the main restaurant and were like any other couple on Valentine’s Day,” the eyewitness shared. “They were both smiling the whole time and kept touching each other’s arms. It was great to see them looking so in love.” Harry and Meghan are coming off of a big week which had him jet-setting to the U.K. to see King Charles III after his cancer diagnosis and then making a successful appearance at the NFL Honors in Las Vegas.
Meghan and Harry also redesigned their website, featuring their new Sussex.com home base while she announced her upcoming plans for a new podcast partnership with Lemonada. The string of wins for the Montecito couple proved that a 2024 reset was what they needed all along. “What we’re seeing — and will see more of I think — is Heghan 2.0. Part Deux. They know of their supposed failures and how it’s viewed, but they have almost gone more tech than Hollywood. Fail big and all that,” a Sussex insider toldPeopl last year. “They have swapped in and out all sorts of projects and people and are embarking on a total system reboot.”
From the looks of it, both Harry and Meghan appear to be at peace with the decisions they have made. They have had a few missteps along the way, but after taking a step back and rebuilding their post-royal life with a solid foundation, they are finally on the right track. The British tabloids continue to try and take them down, but Prince Harry and Meghan are proving to be stronger than ever.
