Tom Cruise is keeping his new romance with Russian socialite Elsina Khayrova off the radar, but sources are spilling the tea that couple has taken some big steps lately in their relationship. It could be a sign that the 61-year-old actor is fast-tracking his love life after being single for quite some time.
Cruise, according to a Page Six source, has met Khayrova’s two children, a son and a daughter, from her previous marriage to Russian oligarch Dimtry Tsvetkov. Their 2021 divorce captured global attention for the amount of money, property, and artwork that was disputed during the legal proceedings. The three-year battle apparently left Tsvetkov rather scarred because he issued a warning to the Top Gun star, via the Daily Mail.
He noted that Cruise should “keep his wallet wide open” because his ex has “expensive and luxurious tastes” that amounted to over $12 million spent on designer clothing and $2 million on handbags while they were married. “Irrespective of whoever she’s with, Tom Cruise or anybody else, they should be aware that she likes the finer things in life,” Tsetkov said. “I’m happy for her, I wish her all the best.”
While not much is known about Khayrova’s children, she did post a sweet tribute to her daughter on Instagram in September 2023 to celebrate her birthday. “The happiest moments of my life 🫶🫶🫶 Happy Birthday my best friend,” she wrote in the caption. But fans probably won’t hear or see much else when it comes to Cruise’s relationship, especially with young children in the mix.
A source told the Daily Mail last week, “They’ve grown very close over the past few weeks but take a lot of care not to be photographed together because they want to maintain their privacy. Tom has been staying the night at Elsina’s apartment, which as you can imagine, is a very beautiful place. They enjoy hanging out together and despite their wealth, do a lot of the things that normal couples do.” That’s likely the strategy they will continue to follow since Cruise’s relationships tend to get a lot of scrutiny in the press. Their love is on high speed, but it’s happening behind closed doors.
