Fans didn’t see Gigi Hadid with Bradley Cooper on the red carpet at the Oscars, but there shouldn’t be any worries about their relationship. The dynamic duo was spotted together in New York on Thursday night — and they were attached at the lips.
The 49-year-old Maestro star and the 28-year-old supermodel looked very cozy, according to the snapshots posted in People. Hadid cradled Cooper’s face in her hands while she kissed him on the mouth. He looked like he got caught mid-conversation with that smooch because his eyes were looking at another guest at the table. They were celebrating Queer Eye star Antoni Porowski’s 40th birthday at Via Carota with another Netflix star, Tan France.
Hadid wasn’t expected at the Oscars ceremony with Cooper, but rumors were going around that she was planning on attending the Vanity Fair Oscars Party with him after — it would have been their red-carpet couple debut. With two busy careers in the mix, though, things do come up. An Us Weekly source revealed that they nixed their award show plans because Hadid “ended up taking a job and had to go back.”
Despite their 20-year age gap, Cooper and Hadid seem to be a match made in heaven on paper. “They’re both single parents to a young daughter, and they share a similar sense of humor,” a second insider told Us Weekly last fall. Hadid shares daughter Khai, 3, with her ex-boyfriend, Zayn Malik, and Cooper co-parent his daughter, Lea, 6, with his ex, Irina Shayk.
Hadid and Cooper have been spotted all over the East Coast together from New York City to the countryside of Pennsylvania where they both own property. They even enjoyed a post-Golden Globes celebration at celebrity hotspot Giorgio Baldi in January with his mom, Gloria, so they seem to be getting closer to making their relationship officially public.
“They were with a group of friends, and all had fun. Bradley and Gigi looked happy together,” a source told People earlier this year. “They weren’t overly affectionate, but it was still obvious that they are dating. There were lots of loving glances and flirting.” So, the Hadid-Cooper couple watch continues!
