Less than a week ago, Brittany Mahomes left fans with their jaws on the floor as she debuted a new hair color: dark red. The pictures, which showed her rocking her long red waves in a black one-piece bikini or a skin-baring bandeau, proved to be quite a change from her usual blonde hair.
The dramatic transformation, however, wasn’t as real as we all thought. In a recent outing to the MLS match between Inter Miami CF and Sporting Kansas City on April 13, the mom of two went back to her blonde locks. So was the hair makeover only an intricately installed wig? We’re leaning towards yes.
After attending the event, which took place in Kansas City, Mahomes posted a series of pictures of her and her husband Patrick on Instagram. “Ball is life,” she wrote in the caption.
For the game, Mahomes wore a white two-piece set with blue trim while the Chiefs’ quarterback rocked a Sporting Kansas City jersey with multi-colored textured denim pants.
In the comment section, followers are questioning Mahomes’ return to blonde. “What happened to the red hair?! It looks so good on you!!” wrote one commenter. “Kinda sad the red didn’t stick around! You’re always beautiful but that was 🔥,” echoed another.
Last week, when Mahomes posted the initial transformation, she seemed to be also feeling the new look too. “Feeling spicy🔥🌶️🤭,” she wrote in the caption.
Of course, her fans followed suit. “Casually breaking the internet on a Wednesday afternoon… that last pic 😵🔥,” wrote one follower. “Well of course I loveeeeee 😍!!! Welcome to the RED SIDE!! 🤩🤩🤩” another fan wrote.
So while Mahomes’ hair switcheroo might’ve not been permanent, it looks like she has an army of fans to prove she’ll look good in just about any hair. With fans like these, maybe a permanent hair change is just around the corner!
